Oh HI! Remember me? I haven't posted in a week because I've been super ill. The best thing (note sarcasm) about working in a hospital is that you're exposed to all sorts of bugs and virus' when they make their rounds. Basically for the past week I've not moved from bed and have just been throwing up non stop - Nice, I know. I also then gave it to Rich, so he was ill too. We're finally better at last and back to work tomorrow.
I still look uber pasty (more than usual) in this picture, so that's why. My hair looks really shiny in this picture and it is all down to some gorgeous Faith in Nature shampoo and conditioner that was sent to me. It smells divine and leaves your hair so soft - I've even caught Rich sneakily using it! All their product's are animal and vegan friendly which is a massive bonus! I'd definitely recommend it.
I've decided I'm growing my fringe out. My sister took a picture of us both on her phone the other day and my face looks SO round and looks so much worse because of the fringe. Now I've seen that one picture, it's all I can see when I look in the mirror. I hate growing a full fringe out, it is such a hassle. Mine is too blocky to sweep to the side yet, so might just have to resort to pinning it back or something, ugggh. Send suggestions if you have them, they will be gratefully received.
This picture was just taken against a wall in the park when Rich and I took Fleur out for a walk earlier. It's a beautiful day so get outside if you can. It's weird just going back to work for one day tomorrow before the weekend - in a nice way! We're doing family things and getting my MOT done (*please don't fail*) on saturday/sunday, then 14 hour shifts on monday-wednesday and finally we get our new house keys on thursday. Exciting!

Ah I think you really suit a fringe! Not round faced at all. But if you wanna grow it, grow it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better, and fingers crossed on the MOT, mine is also in this weekend. It's so going to fail. :(
Love that dress, and the shoes are fab.xx
If I don't like it grown out, I can always get it cut back in! Fingers crossed for both our MOTs! xxx

DeleteOh you poor thing... I saw on twitter that you've been ill... :(
ReplyDeleteI hate growing out the fringe! It is such a pain!!! I can only say - good luck and keep tight - I know you'll be tempted to abandon the plans on the way. ;) X

DeleteSO feel you on the bugs...all our GPs have some evil cold and cough and now I have it!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is beautiful, and you look more stunning than ever.
It's so crap isn't it! I heard that you're meant to get a better immune system working in the NHS since you're exposed to more but I still seem to pick up everything! xxx
DeleteYou look lovely, pale or not. Hope you are feeling well enough now.

DeleteI think your fringe really suits you! I used to have a blunt fringe and I started growing it out 2 years ago (still going!), and reading your blog makes me one to get one again! The only thing stopping me is knowing just how painful it is to grow out.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better x
Oh Aelie! I bet I get bored along the way and get it back again, we'll see! Lack of willpower over here, ha xxx

DeleteYou have the most stunning hair, skin, lips, eyes I've ever seen. You could give zooey deschanel a run for her money. and that says a lot coming from a zooey deschanel addict.
