As a couple of you asked to see what I bought at the giant boot sale on sunday after reading my last outfit post, here it is, just for you. Now, it’s not pictures of absolutely everything I bought as some of the clothes are in the wash etc and it would be far too picture heavy! These bits are some of my favourites though. The table cloths and bowls I bought for my jubilee party on sunday and I couldn’t resist the flask as I thought it’d look cute on the table on sunday too. Can you believe this whole tea set was only a pound? It was when all the stalls were packing up and the lady wanted to just get rid of everything; wonderful for me (not that I need another tea set really). I think I’ll put all my various tea pots on the table with flowers in them for the party – I think it will look sweet, don’t you think?
Tshirt – Old Topshop. Dungarees – Primark. Shoes and Hat – Peacocks. Bag – Charity Shop.
I hope all you peaches have been enjoying this dreamy weather! Farmer chic in these dungarees shorts, perhaps? I don’t care, I actually love them. I’ve wanted a pair for years and couldn’t find any until recently when I spotted these in primark for £12. It was one of those moments when you want to run and hug the whole rail, so grateful to have found them! A bit nautical with the colours too, I realise!
I wore this on sunday, so a bit of a cheat. I spent the majority of the day at a boot sale, literally the biggest one you will ever see; we were there from 8-1 and still hadnt made it the whole way round! Actually, you can see in the background of the photos the remainder of the cars leaving! I don’t think I’ve ever bought so much from a boot sale as I did this weekend. I spent £40 that I really shouldn’t have but never mind, I bought some lovely things! I planned to photograph everything but there’s so much it would turn in to a rather boring post. I bought a lovely floral mirror for £2 and a whole load of clothes; a jumpsuit, a jumper or 2 and a couple of dresses. In addition, I got lots and lots of things for my jubilee party at the weekend – Some floral table cloths, some retro bowls and jugs, a tea set and an amazing old flask with the queen on it from the silver jubilee for only 50p! Lets just hope the weather is nice for it, I can’t wait!
Hello darlings! How beautifully amazing is the weather! I feel so much happier when it’s sunnier, let alone when it’s hot too and I can wear summer dresses at last! I adore this outfit; I feel so twee and theres something about the dress and tights paired together that makes me think of Lolita. My friend kept calling me Alice in Wonderland too, I guess the colours are right, ha!
My hair hasn’t magically grown, I have in some new gorgeous extensions from HairTrade! They are really good quality, I’m so impressed that I can’t feel the difference between my own hair and the extensions! Also, I really want to tell you how much I’m raving over the 2True make up range (sold in Superdrug) at the moment! My eye make-up and lips are all by 2True in this picture, and the best part is the products are all only £1.99 each (amazing for us bargain hunters)! I usually use MAC eyeliner and mascara but I am definitely switching now. I found the quality to be just as good and think of the savings! They also do a ‘Seal n Protect’ (like Lipcote) which is just as fab but again, much cheaper! I love finding cheaper alternatives and just had to tell you about this one!
I’ve spent the day with Rich and some friends in the garden of a pub soaking up the sun! I’ve been drinking pink lemonade and dreaming of a rose-tinted summer. It’s been so lovely although I must admit I am the slightest bit burnt, whoops! Hope you’ve all had an fantastic day!
