BETTER LATE

Better late than ever, right? As promised what seems an awfully long time ago now; a few pictures from our jubilee party. It rained and poured but luckily the party gazebo we bought the day kept us all lovely and dry. We put some old rugs on the floor, decorated tables, hung bunting, added a few lamps, a heater, a ruddy good playlist  and some speakers (Rich hooked up the electricity outside) and the end result was really cosy!

What do you think of my attempt at looking like a retro housewife? It was such good fun dressing up and most of our friends did too which was fab! People came over around 2pm and by 2am everyone had just about left, with nothing but celebratory drinking, cakes and barbeque food in between (the boys braved the rain, the girls kept warm and dry)! There weren't a huge amount of photos take as gradually everybody became a little bit worse for wear, whoops! I hope you all had a super jubilee bank holiday weekend, even if the weather was a bit of a washout!
