It's quite unusual that I dress quite this pink, pretty and generally girly; there's typically a splash of red or something mis-matched thrown in for good measure. Nevertheless, I thought I would make an effort for the occasion. You see, one of my birthday presents from Rich was 'Anna's Afternoon Tea' at Grosvenor House on Park Lane. I'd wanted to go for, well, forever, but tea and cake is something that I can little justify spending £40 each on, so it was an especially nice gift. It was wonderful and we were super full of finger sandwiches, scones, mini cakes and of course tea, by the time we left. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a treat once in a while!
My dress is from Romwe but altered by the lovely Fairweather Vintage as it was a little too short. I absolutely adore it; there's something quite old fashioned about it but with the convenience of something new. My cape is from Topshop, bought a few years back and my shoes are Bertie via Sarenza. All my jewellery is vintage, and my gorgeous bag was a birthday present to myself, by Mischa Barten. I wanted it for so long and was so pleased but unfortunately I've had to send it back. The handle was falling off by the end of the day and the material started to peel (sob). Why is it that whenever you buy something you've wanted for ages, it ends up being rubbish? I'll find my dream bag one day.
