MADAME ROUGE

Yesterday, when these photo's were taken, was a rather warm day. Today on the other hand, it's bloomin' freezing and the idea of wearing so little fills me with horror, ha.

 This outfit is part of a collaboration with Spoiled Brat; the necklace and shorts, in particular (the blazer is Primark and the top and shoes are Peacocks). I was generously given £50 to choose some items to style and I was instantly drawn to these fabulous shorts. I love anything high-waisted; in fact, I don't wear shorts or trousers if they're not high-waisted full stop, so these were a perfect choice. I adore the stripes too, red as you know is my favourite colour and so another reason for me to love them. Admittedly, I'm not overly used to getting my legs out quite this much, but I think they are perfect for summer and I'm already planning on wearing them in winter too with tights and chunky knit jumpers! I do love clothes you can style all year round. As I had some pennies left over from my £50 budget, I decided on this 'I Surrender' Me and Zena heart necklace as I've always wanted one of their pieces. Before I knew it, I was dressed completely in red and despite my initial doubts that it might be too much, I think it works. What do you think? Spoiled Brat have some fabulous things and a massive range, if you haven't seen before.

Yesterday, I bought the most ridiculous car. My car has gone to car heaven and despite being rather skint, I've been forced to get another as I need it for work etc. After a week or so of searching gumtree, I found what I wanted, in budget - perfect, non? Well, the previous owner was a real gangster man and it's got the biggest spoiler you'll ever see, a stupid body kit on it and a giant, crazy noisy exhaust. Not so perfect. Never mind, Rich is now lovingly removing all the rubbish from it and making it look like a normal car again and it'll be ideal! Dressed like this, said gangsta man gave me some unimpressed looks and I felt rather out of place driving it home as it was, ha!
