I adore this outfit! It's not all that often that I make such a comment about something I'm wearing myself, but I really do. It feels so summery and pretty, but still keeps the retro vibe I love my outfits to have. It's uncommon for me to love a look so much that doesn't have any red in it, but there you go!

I've been trying out the GHD Style and Protect Gift Set this week, it really is wonderful. Inside the wonderfully presented gift box is a rather luxurious hairbrush, two hair clips, 'straight and smooth' spray and 'final shine' spray too. I wish I had worn my hair down today so you could see how lovely and shiny it makes it, instead I went for a scruffy up do! The gift set, as I said, is rather luxurious. It certainly puts my Primark hairbrush to shame, anyway (but that's why I'm not a beauty blogger, I have no clue about things like what makes a 'good' hairbrush). It is priced at £39 which is perhaps a little pricey if you're buying for yourself, however, as a lovely gift to someone I think it's not too bad; after all, it will certainly be appreciated!

My turban headband is from Crown and Glory, the dress from Glamorous and my ballet pumps from New Look last year. I'm also wearing my favourite Satchel, my Romwe sunglasses, vintage jewellery and casio watch. As you can see from the pictures, it was super sunny and so standing around for photos was no chore. Rich and I walked to town for a spot of charity shopping and to run some errands but ended up spending most of the time sitting on the steps outside Town Hall eating one of Thorntons giant ice-creams; so naughty, but so good.
