Hello my darlings! I don't know about where you are, but it has been gloriously hot here the past couple of days so I've been able to crack out my Falmer shorts I bought at wilderness festival again! Speaking of which, I promise I'll post all about it soon; I took hundreds of photos, you all know what a chore it can be trawling through and picking a measley 7 or 8 to show you all, so I've been putting it off a little!
I've become a real fan of these shape jumpers recently, I've got 3 now; all from charity shops and in a variety of colours. I just think the shape and knit pattern is really sweet but unfortunately I haven't seen on the high street so I have to wait til I strike gold whilst rummaging - either that or take up knitting and make them myself! Today I'm using my amazing new bag. It's by Lancelot Knight and is a barrel shape version of the typical satchel! A plus point for me is that it has the grab handles as well as the shoulder strap; I don't like to be limited by one or the other! When I saw it, I knew this was a bag for me; I love satchels, but the trend has taken over practically every shop on the highstreet selling the same designs so I think it's so refreshing to see a company that have their own take on the trend with the barrel shape. Don't you agree? The raspberry hue doesn't go a miss either! Also wearing and loving my new pink floral wedges by Vagabond from Sarenza. I have these in black and wear them on every possible occasion so after eyeing these up for a good few months, I decided to add them to my basket! The print is so cute I wish I'd bought them earlier!
Despite the wonderful sunshine and heat, I'm getting all excited about A/W. Every year without fail I ridiculously, and stupidly you might say, buy a new camel coloured trench coat. When spring arrives, it ends up in my charity shop pile and then I buy a new one come autumn. I tell myself I won't do again each year but lo and behold, it just happens.. So here we are yet again, my new trench in the post and excited to wear it! It's definitely my autumn staple, what are yours?
Another marginally cheeky reminder that there's only a couple of weeks left to vote in the Cosmo Blog Awards, if you haven't done already, please click over and vote for me in the Best New Fashion Blog category! I'll love you!
