SEASONAL SWITCH

Recently, an email dropped in to my inbox from Most Wanted, the lifestyle magazine from Voucher Codes.co.uk. My challenge? Smarter spending during the seasonal switch; £80 to find some A/W items that can work with my summer wardrobe, to make them more A/W friendly! As a girl that literally packs her summer wardrobe away at the end of august each year and hides it in the loft in exchange for a suitcase of winter clothes, this is a challenge I definitely wanted to be involved in!

After a few hours of mindless browsing online, I decided to pinpoint exactly what items I thought would help me through the transition. I decided I wanted a bright jumper; perfect for cold summer days but also perfect throughout autumn, winter, spring and back to summer again. Next, I knew I had to replace my summery white satchel with a bigger, darker coloured bag, one that could hold gloves and scarves galore. Finally, I've become such a fan of playsuits this summer, I thought I ought to do something about that too. Instead of my light coloured, floral numbers, I decided something a bit more glittery and glamorous would be perfect for evenings and nights out. Above, I'm obviously wearing them a little more summer appropriate as it's boiling today, however, it would only take a pair of tights to transform these outfits to winter ready!

I searched many a website for my dream items and eventually found everything I was looking for on ASOS. Some of the items have gone down in the sale now (always annoying when that happens!) so you can snap them up a little cheaper than I did, here: Jumper - Playsuit - Bag.
