I think it's about time I wrote this post, don't you! Obviously as the title suggests, a post dedicated to Wilderness Festival that I went to last month. I didn't actually plan on going to Wilderness originally. I worked as a 'Vintage Correspondent' for Vintage Festival during spring and payment for it was in the form of two Vintage tickets. However, at the last minute Wilderness and Vintage decided to merge and so off to 'Vintage at Wilderness' I went!
It really was the most glorious weather from the moment we arrived, so I spent the weekend in weather-appropriate playsuits - this one is from ASOS. The festival is the perfect combination of bright colours, glittering goodness and quaint British charm. In a moments walk you can find yourself alone in a wooded area next to a waterfall or floating along a river in a paddle boat. I think that's why I found the festival so charming; it was so easy to escape the crowds when you wanted. You may ask, is she sewing in that photo above? Yes, you are correct! My favourite part of the festival by far for me was the Vintage aspects. There were many a craft session, from cake stand making, ceramic decorating, button customising, corsage creating. I could go on. I spend many an hour in the crafting tent whilst Rich was the perfect boyfriend waiting patiently. He even had a go himself at a few things! There was a lady doing 'Poor-traits' in the vintage area too, so we had ours done! What do you think, any resemblance?
