Necklace – Jewellery by Jaymie
As I write this, I’m laying in bed as I have been for the past three days. Before that, I was in hospital and before that, yep, I was right back here in bed. I’m sure you’ve guessed I’m not very well at all, hence a little neglect on the blog/replying to emails front. As I had these photo’s to show you, I thought I would pluck up the energy to post this and show you what I had got up to prior to being ill.
So it’s party season and I’ve already had my first one. Can you believe it, Christmas parties before it’s even December. Never mind, that’s what you get when working in a giant team that are all busy nearer the time! As we’ve already discussed, it’s a little early for pracing around with festive flashing earrings and tinsel adornments, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to tone it down and wear my favourite Boucle mini dress. I’m certain it will be the pick of the bunch of the christmas party dresses I’ve got lined up thus far.
I’m wearing some Miss Flicklash eyelashes for the first time! If you haven’t seen them before, they’re the false eyelashes with cat eyeliner flick attached. As somebody that wears cat eyeliner day in and day out, I couldn’t resist trying them. They‘re perfect if you want to create a subtle flick! My gentle waves were created with the Babyliss boutique loose waves curling tong from argos. It’s perfect if you just want easy to achieve light waves that look really natural. I also used my Instyler that I’ve only recently started using – how did I live without it? It adds so much volume and can both curl and straighten; a pretty clever styling tool, huh? I’ve got the purple one but it also comes in a glorious candy apple red. If it isn’t on your Christmas list, put it on now. You’ll thank me later.
How do you like my shoes? I’m usually a fan of wedges and platforms, so thought I would go for something a little different! They were a bit of a bargain actually, the order including postage and packaging would have been £49.99, but I used the MyVoucherCodes discount which made it £39.99 and saved me £10! That’s what I like to see! 😉
Crikey, the party and these photo’s seems like so long ago now! I’m going back to switching between watching daytime house programmes and bloomin’ awful PPI claims adverts, and scouring Achica for the most divine Christmas presents for loved ones. The homeware section is all kinds of beautiful. I might as well be a little productive whilst stuck in bed, non?
