Dress - Oh My Love | Jacket - Missguided | Scarf and Bag - Becksondergaard
Fold-up Bag - Just Mustard | Boots - Topshop
With a mild case of the January blues, I popped this frock on and Rich and I went out for an impromptu lunch! It's become somewhat of a habit to go out for lunch or tea and cake when if one of us isn't feeling tip top (risky strategy, obesity ahoy!) and this time decided on my favourite cafe. The Museum Street Cafe - I've you're ever visiting (and I'm not sure why you would be visiting Ipswich), this is certainly somewhere to pop by. It's a quaint, simplisticly decorated vegetarian cafe with a delightful array of home cooked delights, cakes and tea served in homely mugs. I could sit and watch the world go by all day from a comfy corner there; needless to say, the looming january blues soon made themselves scarce.
You might notice the shopperholic fold up bag I'm holding there. As a collector (make that hoarder) of charity shop goodness and various antique shop odds and end, I always have one of these fold up bags with me - If that makes me an early granny, I hold up my hands proudly ;) . As I was saying, this one has just come in to my life and is an ever so glamourous upgrade; at just under £5, I don't know why I didn't get one sooner.
The most delightful dress I've owned in a while is certainly this number. I adore the pinky hues, the collar and cuffs, not to mention the velvety texture. It happens to rather nicely coordinate with my lovely star print Becksondergaard scarf, the brand which inadvertantely, my bag is also by. They're a brand I'm getting a little attached to now. It's the whimsy prints that adorn their scarves and the details of the pockets in their bags and purses that I really appreciate. I have been known to buy a bag just because of its patterned lining, so y'know, this is right up my street! Here's a little secret - I've a wonderful scarf and purse to send to a new home, so keep your eyes out for my upcoming giveaway if you like Becksondergaard as much as me!
