My most worn item of clothing at this time of year is my fur coat. Faux, of course! It feels like a constant giant cuddle, which in my books, is pretty good going. A couple of snaps taken this morning whilst I wandered around the quiet streets of my little town (yes, I’m that person that gets up bizzarely early for when the shops open to avoid crowds…) and really got in January sale spirit by purchasing a handful of pretty things for the house. It hasn’t just been sensible sale shopping though (I’m not quite that disciplined!), as I’m expecting my some goodies to arrive from Peter Hahn after I went on a little online spree (whoops!). I’ve consumed more vanilla hot chocolates than should be allowed and feel delightfully relaxed for a bit of time away from work and blogging. I hope you all had a lovely christmas, and not to forget, Happy New Year! – I’ve finally managed to stop Ludo from getting to his new favourite place (the christmas tree of course!) to hang from and chew on baubles (cat ladies, you know what I’m sayin’), and now it’s almost time to take it down again! Typical, huh? 😉

This post has inspired me to dig out my faux fur coat! I wish I could be one of those sensible shoppers but I have no restraint – nor the ability to get up early and go when the shops are quiet and peaceful and I’d maybe actually think about things rather than just buying things because ‘I want out of this place!’

Happy New Year to you too!
As for sale shopping, in Canada as well, where I live, the best time of the year to go for sale shopping is January, after the holidays, when it’s not that crowded anymore, but you still can get great deals.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a fabulous week ahead!

    Xoxo, Victoria
