What is there more likeable than a good ol’ colour co-ordinating outfit. I rather think that this one has something a little boarding school-esque about it; perhaps it’s the matching doctors bag for good measure. A weekend ago, Rich and I took a trip to a local Christmas market. At this time of year, I always thoroughly enjoy browsing the sweet stalls full of festive trinkets and yummy treats. We came away with the paper chains pictured, some darling little seasonal decorated pegs for holding cards and a vintage style lunchbox that isn’t at all Christmas related, but I couldn’t resist none the less.
It’s ever so wintery now; in fact as I write there’s snow falling! I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when Fleur came running in from the garden covered in a showering of snow flakes! My rose-tinted glasses are firmly set in place now; I refuse to think about the cold when everything looks so dreamy!
More and more I’ve been thinking about doing an awful lot of my present shopping online. I do love a stroll in to town but at this time of year it can be ever so stressful with the bustling crowds and queues! For a certain loved one, I’ve been looking for somewhere that does customised printed t-shirts so that I can fulfill a particular humorous present I’ve had in mind! It seems there’s nowhere on the high street, so it’s a certainty I’ll be going online to Vistaprint for that one. Shh, it’s a secret! Also, having been on the hunt for a gorgeous pair of gorgeous pair of ladies boots for a fashion-conscious family member for some time, I’ve also found them in the form of the Fraser boots at Duo Boots (again, shh!). The fur trim looks wonderfully cosy; I do think it’ll be one of those presents I want to keep for myself! As a rather new brand on my reliable go-to list, I knew I would soon become a fan when I found they have a store on Saville row, amongst many other UK and European stores. Despite the wonderful quality that is clear to see, they also have a variety of calf and foot-widths, for those of us with wide feet (ahem, me).
