As a reasonably new wearer of glasses, there’s something I find rather exciting about getting a new of specs. I now have four pairs in total (too many?) and I can safely say that this posts’ title is certainly not true. It’s a bit of a double whammy this week – not only have a got some beautiful new frames but these white Prada sunglasses have winged their way to me, too! I’m over the moon!
This particular pair of specs are called ‘Eliza’ by London Retro at My Optique. The nifty glasses style finder on the site matched things like my face shape, skin and hair colour to find me a perfect pair! I was certainly happy to see that another cat-eye pair were the ones for me! I got my other pair from Vision Express, and boy do I wish they had a desginer glasses range like My Optique do. Would have made choosing a whole lot easier! You’ll have heard me witter on about my love for packagaing before, and, well…glasses cases are kind of like packaging, right? I think I adore the London Retro glasses case almost as much as I do my new glasses themselves. It looks such a pretty addition to my desk.
A girl can never have too many pairs of sunglasses, that’s for sure. Though, there’s a possibilty I’m taking that to new extremes now. I’ve running out of space to store them (storage ideas very much welcome!). These delights are the Prada 17OS in ivory. I tell ya, if I’ve ever felt seriously glamourous, it’s whilst I’m wearing these. Retro is the word and that means sharp lines, generous acetate, winged temples, hinge pins and keyhole bridges. It’s love.
