CLOTHESHORSE?

So you want to be a model, huh? Whether you see it as the big career choice for you, or maybe you’d just like to dabble in it and have fun. Either way, it’s safe to say that breaking in to the industry is not easy. I’ve been super lucky over the years to have some opportunities to do just that, land right in my lap. I thoroughly enjoy it as something to do now and then and can’t wait for some particular shoots I’ve got in the pipeline (keep yo’ eyes peeled).  Now, luck isn’t something you can rely on and this week Luxe models have been telling me all about how they give advice and direction, to help those that fancy a go have a higher chance of success.

LUXE Models (they’re based in London) provides services designed to help you identify which areas of modelling may be best suited to you, how best to approach them as well as ensuring you have the right portfolio. Do you have the look? Are you confident in front of the camera? Are you photogenic? Question no more; Luxe will help you to answer these queries and start preparing you for the industry.

With all this on offer and over 12 years experience in the industry, if I told you that you could register for free then it would sound too good to be true, wouldn’t it? Get on over and sign yourself up gals.

Be prepared though if you are asked for a screen test or a photoshoot in London with Luxe that they will ask for a £50 deposit to ensure your arrival (as they work on behalf of a studio). I couldn’t do this at the time but otherwise they were a very helpful company!

Their portfolios can cost a lot of money as well. Luxe models is not an agency. Read here: http://modelling-advice.blogspot.com/2012/11/is-luxe-models-scam-modelling-agency-by.html
