This post is aptly titled after my shiny new piece of neckwear. It was one of those pieces that I knew I had to have. I love the friendly sentiment, and it looks pretty darn sweet too. A laid back look for a lazy day, just popping out for lunch and then some social media work.
Daft as it may seem, this is the first t-shirt dress I’ve ever owned. I’m usually a much more ‘put together’ and tailored style sort of person, but this grey number just spoke to me. I’m really enjoying having something a little more casual to pop on when the mood takes me – it’s so easy to wear and I’ve styled it in so many ways, both more monochrome like today and colourful too. I’m after another colour in this style too now, Desire have a much more affordable alternative to the Topshop range! My trusty Kurt Geiger platforms and Zandra Rhodes clutch came along for the ride too, the perfect duo. I love the art deco feel to the bag – I can still cling on to an element of days gone by, even when dressing down. Still so glad I purchased these shoes. They were one of those ‘should I, shouldn’t I?’ items at first, but now I’m rather attached and wear them all the time!
Has anybody seen any other shoes with this shape platform/heel? I get so much wear out of them, I think it would be rude not to invest in another pair.. Right? Shh, don’t tell Rich, I’ve already got shoes coming out of my ears..
