You know what I said a couple of posts back about how I’ve fallen in love with the great outdoors? Look, I’m outside in a forest again. Wearing this old Dahlia dress makes me feel ever so elegant, though of course forest walking means a trusty pair of converse to go with it. Not that I mind though – I rather like the clashing of pretty dresses and trainers. It’s probably why I used to be a Lily Allen fan – can’t believe I just admitted that one!
This particular woodland walk was more special than usual. Normally it’s just Rich, Fleur and I wandering wonderfully aimlessly, but this time my mum and sister were in tow, too! We took candid photos and family snaps with the self-timer whilst balancing my camera on the branch of a tree (it’s risky kids, don’t try it), amongst throwing a ball for Fleur to chase for what seemed like hours.
I was planning on sharing some of the family snaps from the day, but I’ve changed my mind and feel like I want to keep them all to myself. Happy September, by the way! Summer sun, don’t leave us – I’m not ready just quite yet. Though, I’m seriously looking forward to bringing my trench coat out again – who’s with me?
