Corrr, it seems like such a long time since I last blogged. Follow me on twitter and you’ll have seen my many apologies as long working weeks and minimal daylight hours resulted in an unintentional hiatus. I went to Westfield Stratford for the first time yesterday and this fabulous dress was my chosen attire; some snaps taken just before we left! I thoroughly enjoyed myself, although my feet didn’t thank me for wearing these shoes – they may look rather pretty and comfortable, but five hours of walking and nuh uh.
Now, I’d like to introduce Knomo. This is my Lola, to be precise. Any blogger, business woman or tech savvy darling needs one of these bloomin’ beautiful and oh-so-practical bags. How often is it that practical and beautiful come together to describe a single item in my wardrobe? I can’t think of many occasions. Essentially, it’s a glorious transporter of electronics. It has a large padded inside pocket that wonderfully, is the perfect fit for laptops, ipads – other tablets are available 😉 – and anything else technological you could think of. Besides that, it’s big enough for all the other goodies you want to carry around with you. To give you an idea of how spacious it is, at Westfield it carried my laptop, ipad, phone, purse, make-up, a pair of flats, water, magazines and a jacket, all with room to spare. Impressive, non? I would thoroughly recommend a look at their A/W12 collection, in fact, I challenge you to find a piece you don’t need to have.
Back to telling you all about my shopping. I enjoyed buying lots of things I don’t need (hello lush bath bombs and bubble bars galore), as it’s been ages. I went with the intention of buying some winter shoes from Next after eyeing up so many online but being a fuss-pot and wanting to try-before-I-buy. I came away with these Grey glittering beauties – perhaps not practical but it’s expected to invest in a little sparkle over the festive season, right? I also went with the hope of picking up a couple of Christmas party dresses but was let down by what I found and instead I came home and bought two online from Boohoo instead. Have you seen their new in section? I literally couldn’t resist their gold Laila and bronze Cassandra frocks – looks like I’ll be peter pan collars a-go at all my parties! I’m so eager for them to arrive, eep!
I also want to share exciting news with you! Rich and I have finally found our dream wedding venue! If that wasn’t exciting enough, I’ve also found the wedding dress of my dreams! I don’t want to give too much away but it’s from the Phase Eight Wedding Boutique section of their website; I really want to post a link but Rich reads my blog (hello darling!) and I know he wouldn’t be able to resist looking. They are extremely reasonably priced as far as wedding dresses and occasion-wear goes. I wonder if any of you will be able to guess which one it is!
