FIRST STOP, LONDON! City tours have long been on the agenda, so I thought where better to start than the capital of this fair country? Forever 21 gave me the push I finally needed and were kind enough to dress me (not literally) for the time I spent popping around London to put this post together, so if something catches your eye, you know where to head! Prepare yourself for a hefty, photo-packed post (because the pictures are the best bits anyway, right ?!) showing you my favourite spots to start your day, relax, meet friends and shop… x

To START THE DAY…! At The Breakfast Club, of course! It’s pretty much an institution, and when in the city for work or play, it’s where I always set off first. If you love the namesake film as much as I do, then it’s guaranteed love, but otherwise, the food will definitely win you over. There are Brekky Clubs across London, but my favourite is by far the one on Cheshire St. Top tip, get the pancakes and berries – you won’t regret it. It’s probably a good thing that I don’t live really central, a mountain of those bad boys everyday wouldn’t be good for me…

To RELAX…! Hyde Park! Especially if it’s a warm day. Once of my favourite things to do to relax in the city is hop on one of the pedal boats on The Serpentine for half an hour and completely zone out for a while. The sun on your face, the breeze in your hair (you can even have a natter to the ducks as they go by, not that I’ve ever done that, ahem) and don’t underestimate the exercise too, relaxing and keeping fit can’t be bad, huh?

To MEET FRIENDS…!  Nattering with friends is never as good without tea and cake (Am I right, or am I right?!). My gal pals and I always head to Bill’s (my favourite is the Hoxton one!) and can more often than not be found indulging in afternoon tea. Cute finger sandwiches, scones and bite sized cakes to share (more filling than you’d think, FYI) and all at a rather bargain price. The decor is something to oggle at too, I might even be taking inspiration for my own home interiors…!

To SHOP…! Although shopping at my favourite high street stores is always a pleasure – Forever 21 I’m looking at you 😉 – I love to mix my trend led pieces with something a little out-of-the-ordinary, vintage or handmade. For that, I head to the east end of London, to Spitalfields market and Brick Lane. Spitalfields is my go-to market for quirky homewares (kicking myself for not buying the fox print in the snaps below), handmade delights and other goodies. Brick Lane and the surrounding areas is the best place to head for one-off pieces from days gone by full of provenance and life, the vintage clothes in this area are generally much more affordable than you’d think (may I remind you of this £9.60 dress?!) so go and have a rummage!

You look gorgeous in all these photos – and great clothes from Forever 21! I’ve still not been to the Breakfast Club (probably the fact that I can’t rouse myself early enough for breakfast!) but I love, love, love Bill’s. Always a winner!

I love all of your photos and tips. I don’t spend anywhere near as much time in London as I would like to, but next time I visit I’d love to try out some of these eateries. I’ve been to Bill’s in Leamington but not any of the others.

Amazing! So going to visit these next time I’m in LDN!
