After keeping this all under wraps for a couple of months now, I’m so excited to show you what I’ve been working on with Miss Selfridge, along with lovely ladies Olivia Purvis and Lily Melrose. Remember a couple of months back when I instagrammed these snaps? A little hint as to what I got up to. I’ve been wearing Miss Selfridge for as long as I can remember, so to be invited to model for their new A-Z collection of Styling Essentials #TheCollective, left me giddy with excitement.
Fast forward a month, a car came to pick me up and delivered me to Tower Bridge Studios. In to hair and make-up I went and out I came with a rather fabulous beehive/backcombed bun combination, plus a bright pink lip. Then came the best part – the clothes. The aim was for each of us to style the pieces in our signiature ways, for me, focusing on Vintage Glam. If that’s not a fun styling task then I don’t know what is. Mixing pieces from my own wardrobe with the Miss S pieces, these are the looks that came about. Truth be told, I’ve been raring to get my hands on the bits I wore ever since.
Now, if you hop on over to the Miss S Collective range, you’ll see just how good The Collective is. I’m sure I’m not the only one guilty of planning to put together a real capsule wardrobe and then never really getting round to it. Miss Selfridge have quite literally done it for you – every piece is so versatile and chic. FYI, I ordered all my favourites yesterday – now I can sleep easy at last 😉
