It seems essential to have a few new pairs of essential footwear to get a girl through the warmer months. Four pairs, in my case, for all occasions of course! 😉 Now, let me talk you through my selection…
The boat shoes. Can you believe these are my first ever pair? What did I ever wear before? They are the perfect casual shoe for strolling along the beach in search of a mojito (another fictional holiday..). Back to reality, I’ve been wearing them all the time. From a wander round hyde park, to shopping, meetings and a lunch dates, they really are versatile. They may never set foot on a boat whilst on my feet (sea legs I definitely do not have), but the sailing heritage of Chatham Marine really fills me with confidence – especially with their two year guarantee. These babies are called ‘Fern‘ and next, I’m eyeing up the pink or royal blue pair..
The jelly shoes, glittering in all their gold goodness. Perfect for beach walks and general pretty day time outfits. Perfect hint of playfulness and nostalgia to add to any outfit. The price is rather attractive too! 😉
The gold sandals, a little more versatile day to night. I had to have these to put with cute tea dresses, but also for evenings when heels aren’t appropriate/I’m feeling lazy and my toes want a rest. If I was going on holiday, these would be ideal but alas I am not. Instead I’ll hope for a weekend european city break where they’ll be my best friend.
My pastel pink heels. Possibly the cutest heels I own, with the little bow detailing and t-bar straps. I can’t deny, I got these because they felt a little Orla Kiely-esque and I couldn’t get them out of my mind. To be paired with some ankle socks for day and perhaps some sheer tights and a beehive for evening and a general sixties look.
