It’s March and at long last the sun has begun to poke its head out and say hello. The nights are gradually getting lighter and I don’t know about you, but I just seem to be in a better mood.
With this time of year comes spring style – much prettier shapes and patterns than winter but in modest colours so you can layer up when it’s still a bit chilly.
Trash Fashion has found you the best must have pieces for spring 2011, so enjoy…

This little tie-up beauty is from New Look at a bargain £6.99. It also comes in a range of colours; I’ll be picking one up in every colour!

I love love love this jumper, it would really carry you through all seasons so at £22.99 from New Look, it is so worth it.

Carpet bags – once just for the elderly, now for anyone wanting to add a vintagey twist to an outfit. Matalan have it bang on with this one at only £8.00 too!

I think this retro paisley print skirt from topshop is a bit of a bargain at £25.. It’s so unusual, I love the button detail down the front.

Oasis are the people behind this gorgeous little 60’s style dress. So cute for day or night, get it for £45.00.
Light wash jeans are always a must have for spring and summer. There are so many about right now, but my favourite pair are these from Urban Outfitters retailing at £50.
Don’t you just love this mint green colour? Yummy. It’s so fresh it’s just right for spring time. This lovely blouse is from Topshop and is £36.00
These pumps made it on to these list because despite being so simple, I think they could be worn in so many ways. Casual with shorts of skinny jeans or a bit more dressed up with a tea dress of skirt. I love them anyways and they’ve already been ‘added to bag’. £25 from ASOS.
No spring or summer look is complete without a Trilby. I like the plainer sorts, so this one is definitely on my list of things to buy. The navy band really sets it off but the colour isn’t bright enough to have to worry about whether it matches the rest of your outfit or not. £10 from New Look. YES PLEASE!
These shorts from Urban Outfitters are just something else. At £70.00 they may be over your budget as they are mine but I love the pattern, colours and the button cuff edging. I’ve never seen anything like them so if you can afford them, they might just be worth it.
Loving spring already? If you could only choose ONE must have item for spring, what would it be?  I think mine has to be my beige trench coat… Let me know your choices!
